SHARING THE PRESENCE AND A "NEW WE"
Evolutionary Ways of Creating Community, Society, Spirituality

Sharing the Presence is a practice which cultivates a permanently unfolding field that encourages, stimulates and supports presence, awareness and compassion in the world and cultivates an encompassing understanding of human consciousness and potential.

Currently a "New We" is emerging on the evolutionary surface of life. We start to experience a new awakening that takes us beyond usual forms of individual experience.

This special evening includes a selection of tools of Thomas’ work: Meditation, communication, the reading and understanding of fields of consciousness, toning, exercises in presence, training in intuition and inspiration.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25, 7:00-10:00 PM

Canadian Memorial
W. 15th & Burrard, Vancouver

$20 at the door

Thomas Hübl  is a contemporary spiritual teacher of uncompromising clarity whose teachings are recognized internationally. His work integrates the essence of the great wisdom traditions, modern scientific understanding, and his own personal path. It guides people to a deeper level of self-awareness and personal responsibility: a radical transcendence of an ego-centred world view opens the doorway to a profound life of authentic expression, service and alignment with the Absolute.

Thomas has dedicated his life to the task of exploring consciousness and supporting people worldwide in this exploration. His associates and students value his special gift in the way he is able to deeply see others, as well as his ability to apply the timeless wisdom which is revealed to him, practically, in order to support others in their unfolding. He continuously applies his insights - gained through deep opening - in social exchange, exploring new provocative ideas within international areas, as he joins with Ken Wilber and other spiritual teachers in creating joint projects.

Thomas's vision of a new conscious "culture of We" finds expression through the Academy of Inner Science (AIS) which he founded in 2008. The AIS is a unique space of exploration and practice in modern mysticism in everyday life: a platform for exploring the relationship between outer science and inner experience with the focus upon active engagement with the global challenges facing humanity in today’s post-modern society.

Integral  Community Seminar ~ Evolving the We!

August 9-14, 2011

Whidbey Institute, Whidbey Island, WA

The Integral Community seminar is being organized by our dear friends and colleagues at Next Step Integral, an organization with a great track record of putting on transformative events that are truly about “walking the talk”. Expert guidance, strong community support, as well as delivery of hands-on tools and skills make up this unique opportunity.

Are you seeking to co-create integral community from the ground up?
Or are you eager to find out how to awaken an existing community
you live or work within to greater consciousness?

We are alive at a unique time in our human history – a time that calls us to come together like never before, and that asks of us a deeper and broader understanding of the complex dynamics and potential of human relationships. We are alive at a time when creating meaningful, genuine community is not just a personal desire or option, but essential for our shared humanity to continue to evolve and flourish.

Come join integral community experts Terry Patten, Stephan Martineau, John Gruber, Terri O’Fallon, and many more to deepen and enact integral evolutionary community in the beautiful old-growth forest of the Pacific North-West! This is certain to be a dynamic and profoundly transformative week!

3 Faces of Spirit - Meditation & Prayer

Start:
March 21, 2011 - 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Who or What or Where is God These Days?

We live in a time when our concepts are God, Spirit, the Holy One or Oneness, are being put into question on a large scale. More and more people call themselves "spiritual but not religious." But what does this really mean? Are we just missing out on the breadth and depth of God because we choose to reject old ideas which no longer square up with our modern and post-modern cultures? Have we thrown out certain aspects of the divine, and found ourselves parched by the dryness of "Principle" or "Absolute" that we now call God? In our quest to embody the "I Am Presence" within, have we lost out on the comfort and personal transformation that can occur while experiencing deep reverence of the Beloved Other?

This and other questions have crossed my mind in exploring Integral Spirituality in the past decade. I'd love to explore them further, with you, on Monday, March 21, 2011 and beyond. I hope you will join me for the Integral Cafe next week so that we might come together in spiritual reflection and practice with the 3 Faces of Spirit.

Integral Vancouver Survey

Toward the end of 2010, we conducted a survey through our email list, seeking input on what was the experience and desires of those who have participated in the Vancouver Integral Salons in the past 18 months. If you would like to view a summary of the results from the survey, click here.

As we reviewed the survey results, and continued conversations with various folks in the integral community of Vancouver, we were struck by the commitment to engage fully in asking the questions: What does it mean to be “integral” – in WHO we are and WHAT we do? What does this mean for community? How do we choose to come together, and for what purposes?
