March Integral Salon

March 22, 2010 - 7:15pm - 9:30pm

Our next Integral salon meeting will be a "Round Table" dialogue held on Monday March 22nd at the Centre For Peace, 1825 West 16th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6J 2M3 (At Burrard)

The doors will open at 7:15, and our meeting will be from 7:30 to 9:30.

Jim Vollett writes:

"Welcome back from the Olympic fever.  I do believe these Olympics have shifted the culture of Canadians - I think we share a new story about ourselves.

Which is a great segue to our latest Salon news.

We did not have a February Salon, in honor of the Olympics, and to prepare for a whole new era in the Salon.

First we are moving to the Centre for Peace, at 16th and Burrard!  We have outgrown our old space at the Canadian School of Nutrition and they have outgrown us - they now need the space for their expanded number of students.

Second, our next Salon is on Monday, March 22nd.

Third, the salon will be about discussing a new vision for the integral community in Vancouver, one that includes but transcends what we have done so far.

We want to broaden and deepen the integral community. To that end the Integral Men's team has put together an initial proposal. The proposal is intended to act as a starting point, a place that all can respond to. We will share the outlines of this proposal during the meeting, and are seeking everyone's input, so that we can find a workable way forward in 2010.

We envision a two-circle format - where the inner circle discusses, and the outer circle observes.  And you can move from one circle to the other, at any time.  This allows people to participate as little and as much as they want.

This is Integral in Action.  We need your perspective-no not anyone else, you!  So if you are only going to come to one Salon this year, make this one.

I personally ask YOU to be there.

Talk to you then.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me beforehand."
